Exploring seasonal produce in Minnesota,
one recipe at a time.

Seasonal Kitchen is a weekly food column in the Star Tribune. Written by Beth Dooley, the column is filled with stories, tips, and recipes for cooking in tune with Minnesota's culinary calendar and shares delicious ideas for what to do our local bounty all year long. Both the food styling and photography are focused on highlighting fresh fruits, vegetables, and other local ingredients that make seasonal cooking in Minnesota both flavorful and fun. All photographs were captured using natural light and utilize various backgrounds and props from our collection. Check out a few examples of the local column: Learn to make your own ricotta now, thank us later.
